The Double Happiness character, Shuangxi (双喜) is composed of two happiness and literally means that. It is a traditional Chinese ornamental design used for wedding-related items gifted to the young couple for their nuptials, symbolizing wedded bliss, love, and luck. A large version of it is made in red paper and fixed to the door of the traditional wedding venue.
